1. Who we are

2. What we collect

• Account: your Apple user ID and, if you choose to share them, your name and email (or Apple's private relay address). You can set a display name and avatar in the app.
• What you do in the app: pin links you submit, outfits you like, products you save, groups you create, and how many new outfits you have used.
• Subscription status: Apple and our subscription provider tell us whether you have an active plan. We never see your payment details.
• Diagnostics: crash reports from Sentry. They don't include your name or email.
• Reports: if you report a pin or a user, we keep the report and who sent it.

3. How we use it

• To run the app: sign you in, analyze pins, show your likes and saved products.
• To enforce plan limits and check your subscription.
• To keep the feed safe: review reports, remove content, stop abuse.
• To fix crashes and improve the app.

We don't sell your personal data. We don't use it for advertising and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.

4. How pin analysis works and what is public

When you submit a Pinterest pin link, we fetch the public pin image and send only the image to an AI service that finds the clothing items. We then search online shops for matching products. We don't send your name, email or account details to these services.

The result is saved under the pin and shown to all pinni users in the feed. The feed shows the display name of the person who first submitted it, a credit, and a link to the original pin. If you don't want your name shown, use a neutral display name. Your likes and saved groups are private.

5. Who we share data with

We use service providers who process data for us:

• Supabase: database, sign-in and servers.
• Anthropic: AI image analysis (pin images only).
• Apify: fetching public pin pages and images.
• [SHOPPING SEARCH PROVIDER]: product search (item descriptions only).
• Apple: sign-in and payments.
• RevenueCat: subscription status.
• Sentry: crash reports.

We may also share data if the law requires it or to protect users and the service.

6. Where data is stored

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is open. When you delete your account in the app, we delete your profile, likes, saved products and groups. Outfit results you caused to be created may stay in the feed, but they are no longer linked to your name. Backups and legal records can take up to 90 days to clear.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK, California, or Morocco under Law 09-08) you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, object to some uses, and complain to your data protection authority.

You can delete your account any time in the app under Profile. For anything else, email [CONTACT EMAIL]. We answer within 30 days.

9. Children

pinni is not for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.

10. This website

This website uses no cookies and no analytics. It loads its font from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page opens.

11. Security

We use encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security.

12. Links to other sites

Outfit pages link to pins on Pinterest and to online shops. Those sites have their own privacy rules and we aren't responsible for them.

13. Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way we will tell you in the app before it applies. The date at the top shows the latest version.
